Who makes the best client?

The people who benefit most from executive or professional development coaching are those who have the capacity for self-reflection.  In other words, you have to have the fortitude and internal strength to accept your tripping points and admit that you (might) have blind spots.  Then you have to be willing to work on them.

How long does it take to get real results?

We generally see significant results in 6-12 months.  Occasionally when there is a very specific and concrete issue we can create sustainable change in 3 months.

Will this change how others work for and with me?

If you use the process correctly, you will know very soon into the program how others’ perceive you.  You will be required to get feedback from key individuals (agreed upon by you) that will provide you with valuable information.  In turn, you will develop successful strategies to create effective change in others based on your communication and behavior.

How often and in what format will I meet with my coach?

We recommend weekly in-person meetings at our office as the ideal.  Given travel schedules clients have to manage, we can substitute phone meetings in lieu of in-office meetings.

Is this related to life coaching?

Not really.  Life coaching primarily deals with personal issues such as developing stronger relationships, determining your destiny, etc.

Executive and Professional Development focus on core competencies required for success as leaders in business today.  I believe it is crucial that the techniques and processes used are grounded in theory and valid research methodologies.
