Our Ceo
Barbara has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a B.S. in Education from Moorhead University with studies at the University of Sevilla, Spain and Veracruz University, Mexico. She serves as the Executive Director for the Management Institute of Leadership Excellence (MILE) for executives at “The Institute” in Silicon Valley. Dr. Belk is a national speaker, providing expertise on executive development and corporate psychology topics. Dr. Belk is a founding member of the Association of Strategic Planning and holds memberships in:
American Psychological Association American Society of Training & Development Bay Area Organizational Development Network East Bay Women in Business International Association of Coaches National Association of Female Executives Oakland Chamber of Commerce Dr. Belk serves on the president’s advisory committee for Oakland Rotary #3 and is an alumna of and advisory board member for Leadership Oakland, through the Oakland Chamber of Commerce. Additionally she serves as board co-chair for Family First, a non-profit organization whose mission is to decrease violence against children. Further, Barbara is actively involved in community initiatives and informally consults with Bay Area faith institutions. |
Barbara Belk, Ph.D., Corporate Psychologist, is founder and CEO of Belk & Associates, Inc. She has over 19 years of experience in professional and personal development, group facilitation, and public speaking. She has also served in management and administrative roles in a variety of corporate, academic and nonprofit settings. She successfully partners with clients to effectively address professional success challenges at executive levels.
